2022 AAHKS Annual Meeting Abstract Submissions

The Program Committee invites abstract submissions and symposium proposals for the AAHKS Annual Meeting. Abstracts may be submitted by clicking the “Submit” button to the right. 

  • Symposium proposals were due by May 2, 2022
  • Abstract submissions were due by June 1, 2022

AAHKS is seeking high-quality scientific and socioeconomic abstracts and symposium proposals covering all aspects of arthroplasty and health policy. Log into the AAHKS submission website with your AAHKS username and password for guidelines. Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

All abstract authors, co-authors and presenters are required to complete disclosures of their financial relationships with commercial interests by June 1, 2022Authors, co-authors and presenters must submit their disclosure information on the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) website. Submissions of authors failing to disclose will be withdrawn from the program. You can look up any author disclosures and submission dates at http://www7.aaos.org/education/disclosure/search.

Abstract Awards and Publications

Authors of abstracts selected for podium presentations have the opportunity to submit a manuscript for consideration for one of three awards:

  1. James A. Rand Young Investigator’s Award
  2. AAHKS Techniques & Technologies Award
  3. AAHKS Clinical Research Award

Manuscripts for AAHKS Podium Award consideration are due August 29, 2022. 

Additionally, authors of podium presentations and top rated posters will have the opportunity to submit a manuscript for publication in The Journal of Arthroplasty (JOA) supplement. All manuscripts are due December 1, 2022. Authors will receive a reminder with instructions for manuscript submission to the Proceedings Supplement of the JOA.
